As we come to the end of another school year I want to share with you the many many options to continue your reading during the summer.  Below is a list of places you can go to check out books either in person OR online!

The Salt Lake City Library has a super fun summer reading program with prizes! Go to this link for details https://events.slcpl.org/supersummer.  Also, check out their youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSKSKbT6acs&feature=youtu.be video about what’s in store for this summer.  The city library is offering a pickup service where you can check out their library books just by driving up.  Look at their website for more information.

Online Reading options:

Bennion’s Library Catalog #1, use your school login to checkout books.  Click on “catalog” and then “Destiny Discover” on the left.  There are so many ebooks for checkout!  Right now there are 210 Graphic Novels, your favorite!

EPIC #3, click or enter on our class code yzr-3586, lots of fun books to read or to have read to you.

SORA #36, use your school login or if you are on a school device it should just open up for you.  There are thousands of NEW books to choose from!

Mrs. Baskett’s Read Alouds #40, just click on and listen to some great read alouds from our very own 2nd grade teacher!

Remember to KEEP ON READING during the summer.  You don’t want to loose all the great reading power that you have learned this year!

Again, you can always email me if you have any questions or are looking for a good read suggestion!  Happy Summer, I miss you all soooo much!!!
